Tommy Thompson Cup Quarter Final

 

Holland FC Reserves moved into the semi final of the cup as they defeated Gosfield United Reserves 1-0.

 

Premier Division

 

Tollesbury pushed clear at the top of the table as they defeated Harwich & Parkeston 2-1, and West Bergholt stayed in touch as they came from behind to snatch a late victory over White Notley 3-2.  Gas Recreation went to Great Bentley and crushed them 8-1, but Little Oakley were held to a 1-1 draw by Barnston AFC.  Coggeshall Town travelled to Tiptree Jobserve and won 3-0, and University of Essex lost 2-1 to Lawford Lads.  Holland FC over came Alresford Colne Rangers 3-0, whilst Dedham Old Boys drew 1-1 with Earls Colne. 

 

First Division

 

Alresford Colne Rangers Reserves moved away at the tops as they beat Little Oakley Reserves  2-1, and in Alresford favour was the result from West Bergholt Reserves as they drew 1-1 with Kirby United.  Wormingford Wanderers ran wild at Panfield Bell as they won 7-0, and Hedinghams United drew 1-1 with Bradfield Rovers.  Hatfield Peverel drew 1-1 with Clacton United and Mersea Island and Rayne shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw. 

 

Second Division

 

University of Essex Reserves lost a vital match as Gas Recreation Reserves defeated them 2-1.  Harwich & Parkeston Reserves beat Coggeshall Town Reserves 2-1, whilst Colne Engaine and Tiptree Jobserve Reserves shared a 3-3 draw.  Barnston AFC Reserves had a 3-1 win over Dedham Old Boys Reserves, and Earls Colne Reserves  defeated Great Bentley Reserves 4-1.

 

Third Division

 

Team Brantham pushed on at the top as they defeated Lawford Lads Reserves 2-1, extending their lead to nine points.  Bures United fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of White Notley Reserves, but FC Clacton Reserves made ground as the beat Bradfield Rovers Reserves 4-2.
